i don't think so due to chrome i think you are facing some issue.

Eh, Opera is basically a rebranded Chrome now.
I guess it's a viable alternative if Chrome proper is giving you spikes in CPU/GPU usage, but it's not even a shadow of its former self from the Presto days.
All browsers suck now, all of 'em.
One needs to install 10 plugins just to get some basic functionality out of the box.
I use Chrome simply because it integrates the Flash component well
