This game just appeared on Game Pass. Haven't heard much about it, but I figured I'd give it a go. So far it's like Descent with a story. Visually impressive, but the controls are a bit hard to master. I'll get there, tho.

Yes, can't seem to get a fluid feel from K/M combo.

It seems to be designed for a controller. I'm using an XBox controller and it's pretty fluid. Just different because you can't (seem to) strafe or go backwards a la Descent.

Right and also it seems to be crashing to desktop with fatal error (perhaps RT related).

Its more like a cross between descent and everspace, if anyone is interested. Like everspace but with massive space stations and asteroid that take a lot more time to fly through, than the small ones in everspace.

Its mission based though, rather than roguelike. Absolutely worth looking at if you like everspace or descent though.

EDIT: you could say its more like fury than descent or everspace i guess. Like if someone wanted to make fury 3 or terminal velocity in the current gaming world.

I bovght this game on the Epic store vsing the 25% off covpon, played it for less than 2 hovrs and didn't enjoy it very mvch, so I ended vp refvnding it. maybe worth it on the Gamepass throvgh.

aeiov and sometimes why?

I actually did install the game and found keyboard and mouse seemed to suit me better.
I only played just a few minutes though so I don't know for sure yet.

Not being able to strafe is super ****ing annoying. It also makes no sense as the ship has jets on it, allowing a small dodge left or right...
