I've been following this for a few years now, and there really doesn't seem to be any rational scheme whatsoever behind the numbering/naming convention that accompanies these pseudo chipset driver packages, making it hard and time consuming to find out if anything has actually been updated at all.
Same goes for RaidXpert, which hasn't been updated in the past three years yet AMD keeps shoving on their download page a new package with a new name and a new date every month!
Can't this really NOT be so convoluted,
Chipset drivers -> 990FX -> driver version 15.xxx.xxx - date xx/xx/xxx
