I wrote another post in this forum about how I discovered (on my own) that the remote control worked MUCH better when I attached a 6 foot USB extension cable to the remote's RF receiver box, and mounted the box 6 feet away from my computer.

I just now noticed at the bottom of the ATI remote control software HELP screen, that ATI recommends that you mount the RF receiver box as far away from the computer and monitor as possible.

Obviously ATI knew this was an issue when they designed the product.

My question is... WHY did they attach an EXTREMELY short 24 inch cable to the RF box in the first place ????
 
Well ATi didn't design the product, but yes, those who did should have provided a longer cable.. or atleast ati should have made them alter the design afterwards... but it works 'ok' when close to the computer... just anyone should know that an extension calbe would really help... so good post :)
