I thought it would be worthwhile to post this link in a new thread, as people have been asking questions that are answered in the FAQ ...:
http://www.ati.com/products/pc/catalyst/faq.html
.... want to know the answers to these questions:
- How often will ATI release CATALYST™ updates?
- Why aren't the "High Performance" and "Optimal Performance" slider positions on the "Main Settings" slider increasing performance in my game?
- Do RADEON™ 7000 and MOBILITY RADEON™ support Anti-Aliasing or Anisotropic Filtering?
- How about RADEON™ 7200, does it support Anisotropic Filtering?
- Do I have to have a "Built by ATI" graphics accelerator to use CATALYST?
...and more? ...... Click on the link !
..... also, I think this bit of info that is not in the FAQ , is worthwhile mentioning, too:
"All drivers in CATALYST will be WHQL (Windows Hardware Quality Labs) certified by Microsoft."
(this quotation is from here: http://www.ati.com/companyinfo/press/2002/4506.html )
