Canon G7X vs. Sony Rx100 iii

If you don't need the EVF in the Sony, X-AVCS or 24fps video, Then the G7X is actually a good buy. Normally I wouldn't say this since Canon is way behind on sensor tech, but the G7X actually uses the same Sony rx100 sensor, coupled with a better lens/zoom.

I am guessing size is the reason you are looking at these two cameras?
 
Couldn't wait for you gays. Picked up the RX100 iii -- pricey little compact takes some impressive photographs. Will post up a review in a couple weeks.

I apologize I didn't see this post :) size is exactly right, I want something I can take traveling that still has great quality.

I can't believe how much horsepower they crammed into this little package!
 
That G7X looks nice.

I can't believe well after a year of getting my Panasonic LX7 its price actually went up. It is a great camera but those 1" sensors are nice in a P&S.
