Brother Need Java help: Need to make 3 cubes bounce

Well, his homework was to make 2 or 3 cubes bounce up and down the applet screen 6 times. He doesn't know how to do it, and I'm stumped. Also he can't get 2 Letterpanels to appear on the screen(it should be half color x and half color y), but it just stays color x.

He's using RealJ for his compiler, and JDK 1.4. The main java file is "Ramblecs.java" and the main HTML file is the only one in the folder. It's an applet.

Here, are the files. Me and him would greatly appreciate help. Thanks!

did you get this figured out???? no one else has mentioned anything in here, I'll download it and take a look at it this weekend if I get a chance.
 
Sorry I didn't get a chance to look at it over the weekend was busy but I will look it over tomorrow (I finnaly have a day off :)
