PROBLEM WITH MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2002
---------------------

Drivers: Windows XP 6052
Card: Radeon 7200
Athlon 1000
512 MB RAM
Asus A7V Bios rev 1009
70 GB ATA 100 7200
Windows Xp Professional Final Build
---------------------

If I change the view in that game, expl. tower view or I try to view by
the window. The result is always the same. The PC reboots. I tried all things
I know. I test it with the Omega drivers Set 1143 R2. The same.

Also many airtfacts during game, like lines or circles in the screen.

PLEASE help me! I payed a lot for this game and now i can't play well.!

Excuse my poor English ;)

I had alot of problems with FS 2k2 at first....many factors seemed to be responsible for the issues.

Firstly I turned off "table fog" in the D3D settings of the Radeon, secondly make sure you have the latest 4 in 1 driver from Via for your chipset (if applicable).

Even after this I still had issues where the game would crash after about 3 minutes into it. Whether I was flying or just sitting on the runway FS would freeze up and crash...it turned out to be one of my sticks of RAM.

I am currently playing RTCW, C&C Renegade, JK 2, and World Grand Prix 2000 I don't have issues with any any of these games. As soon as I changed my stick of RAM FS was flow.

I did all that but nothing changed!!

I did all that but nothing changed!!

I did all that and...

No, nothing changed doing the things you told me...

It's interesting... It dosen't happen with the Boeing planes...
It's true, only with some planes and specially at night!

Thaks for your help!

I discovered that unchecking the option Hardware T & L inside the game fix 90% of the problem. Any ideas of how i can play with the lights of the plane on?? (for example) I mean with this setting off simulation is worse.

PLEASE ANY IDEA???

Thanks

. . . and what's your sound card? Most of my FS probs were soundcard related, I think due to memory addressing conflicts.

I had the view-change problem when I first installed it, but that was just with a few older add-on planes. Going to WinXP solved almost all of these problems, but you already have that.

Did you do a full install of the game onto your hard drive?
