Best browser - 2015?

Progression

Now that Chrome is basically useless which is the best browser out there? I'm considering going back to Firefox but I want to hear suggestions. :D

I've been waiting for Firefox to gain its multithreaded support, which it's finally getting, and is enabled in the nightlies. I'd actually say Chrome this year.

was really liking chrome, but things just don't work anymore like they used to. So I am back on firefox.

I've been having some really annoying issues with Chrome lately. I don't want to switch because the features that sync with my phone are amazing..

But it's starting to get really annoying. I used Firefox for the longest and was happy with my switch to Chrome. Might have to go back if this keeps up..

I use IE quite a bit for work and have been using it more on and off with Win 8.1 and Win 10. Install ad-block (a few options available) and you're good to go.

Huh, good old IE? I hadn't thought about that... so it is much better now? You know... since back when it was kinda not too good? :p

I'm still on Firefox. Chrome is kinda annoying for me to use, I don't like the omnibar or whatever it's called. There was a lot of bugs with audio or flash on Chrome so I've barely been using it since mid 2013.

Firefox for me. I love the Awesome Bar and the extensions, and Mozilla respects my privacy.

I just wish the Flash plugin for it was not so bloated and buggy. The crashes and slowdowns got so bad that I had to remove it entirely.

YES! There is a way for us to get Adobe to fix this. Please file bugs on the following site:
https://bugbase.adobe.com/?event=search

I've added comments to an existing flash slowdown bug, and I've upvoted it too. This has existed on every platform for me, and Mozilla claims it's more a flash issue.

Is there anything specific being referenced to the OP's claim that Chrome is now "useless"?

Firefox is my primary browser and has been since it's inception. But I've dabbled in Chrome at times. I'm just curious if there is something specific that happened recently that I missed.

See e.g. this thread. I have experienced that a lot, and plenty of plugin crashes and general unresponsiveness. I'm experiencing plenty of input problems with a touch screen also, though that may be related to the unresponsiveness.

Firefox at home since forever, I have it looking like the previous version though because the new one is crappy. I use "classic theme restorer"

Flash is garbo, nothing much you can do about it until people stop using it.

Still using FF.

Every time I try switching to Chrome I have some issue with it that forces me back to FF. Latest problem was I could not get LastPass to behave the way I wanted it to with Chrome.

Flash will die off pretty soon, since Youtube started to use HTLM5 by default.

I really don't want to switch from Chrome because it's very convenient with it's sync features, but damn it's been bad lately.

Flash needs to be burned to a crisp with napalm, chopped into tiny pieces, trampled by an angry mob, and thrown into the Mississippi River.

I know I am adding to the hostility of the forum, but this is Flash we are talking about. :bleh:

I've been having issues with chrome on certain sites, it will slow the whole machine to a crawl, granted the office machine is pretty old (q6600, 3gb ram, shitty VIA mobo)

That should be plenty to decode and render HTML/Javascript. :bleh2:
