hello, i dont know how i maid it, but fortunately i managed to brake in into the most secret lab of ati, where they actully test their drivers for quality!!!

the place was very secure, so i didnt hade time to check out all the software that ati was using, actully i didnt saw any current games or anything, but i saw alot of "3dmark2001 SE" software testing going on there thou.....

i'm happy to know that ati actully testing their drivers for quality with current software!

I'm tempted to just delete this thread, but I'll just give it a  and tell you to spend your free time with a dictionary instead of making idiotic threads like this.

Well I thought it was pretty funny and ironic, and not totally without reason.

If the new driver release has an obvious problem with two 'current' games (the fog problem in GTA3 and Morrowind) it makes you wonder if they are actually checking driver releases on current software... or maybe just trusting developers to tell them that everything's OK.

But... NvMark 2k2 tests all aspects of a cards drivers right? you don't need to test any other software because it will work, right? Same with Q3 - if it runs that, all other OGL apps will run correctly, right?

*sigh*

sometimes i wonder about ATI...

Pretty consistant with [H]ard OCP's evaluation of the "catalyst".

The only significant increase is with 3dMK2001.

Maybe yall should try renaming 3dMK's .exe ... but they're probably more subtile now.

Well my 3DMark2001 SE didnt even make it through with out the screen going crazy with messed up graphics and then a reboot as well because it left them there after I canceled out of it. Been having problems like this since the 6071's.
