ATI Refresh Fix needed?

Hi folks
Excuse me being stoopid, but ive just got my first ATI card for years!
Do I need a refresh rate fix for the XP 60hz problem, as I do
wiv NVidia cards??????
Its a Radeon 8500LE 128MB DDR, currently running latest drivers
from www.ati.com

Sorry to say it but the 60 Hz problem is a WinBlows problem (what the hell were they thinking?).

I used Powerstrip to correct this when I was using my Radeon 8500 and am currently using Riva for my GF4.

there is an Ati refresh program, but offhand I don't have a link for it.. it was linked on the front page alittle while ago..

Check the main page of www.rage3d.com for Rage3d Tweak, it has a refresh rate fix for the Radeon 8500 built-in, and a lot of other good stuff.

I use refresh lock to change my refresh rates in games
