Realized last night that my Onkyo receiver is six years old. It's still working great, but I recall it seems like there was a period of time that HT equipment became incompatible every two years or so.
My Onkyo doesn't support 4k video or playback of network files/ DLNA streaming, but I probably won't get a 4k TV for another two years or so and the Xbone does all my streaming (the TV can as well). .
So am I missing anything? I'm happy with my current setup (at least until I discover some new "must-have" tech I don't know about).
