anybody getting choppy playback on youtube using chrome?

i'm getting a bunch of frame skippage in fullscreen mode.
video plays fine in ms edge with 0 frames skip.
i have tried to enable and disable h264ify addon. same problem. chrome was running fine until recently. anybody else having these issues?

Check your gpu drivers?

AMD drivers had some issues recently with youtube playback iirc.

i'm using intel hd3000.
i guess it's too old for Chrome now. I just switched to Firefox Quantum fulltime. All is normal again.
Would have stuck with MS edge, but it's missing a bunch of addons I like.

Turn off hardware acceleration. For some reason its poorly implemented.
