Any suggestions on a monitor purchase?

Hi! Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a monitor purchase i plan to make soon with my x-mas money. I will have only about $275 to spend, anyone got a make/model I should go with? Where should I shop?
 
What ever you do, get a Flat screen (not flat PANEL) Trinitron monitor. I could never go back to anything less than a flatscreen.

I would agree with that. I'm a big fan of iiyama monitors. been using one for more than 3 years and it has always been great.
