I noticed that AMD GPU prices have fallen in some European countries

FUry nano is around 470 euro
The 390x is in 390 price segment -- MSI 390x around 400 euros
THe gigabyte 390x g1 is costing 328 euro --- lol

Fury is in ex-390x price segment around

R9 390 is around 300 euros with some at 295 euros...

I barely stopped myself from buying a 390x or even a fury ... :)

Well seems that the shop above is gone...Those weren't really around all shop...
Today i saw this in Germany ... Seems the market or AMD silently adjusted the prices on the the usual etailers ... Look at the graph on the left :

For r9 390 it dropped to 240 euros

This is not just a single shop like in my previous post. This happens overall ...

Partially clearing out for the 4x0 cards soon coming and because the 1070/1080 are the top dogs for the next 6 months or so(most likely anyway).

According to this chart it seems that the fury pro is not very far from 980ti in overall performance...

The 1070 fe is 500 euros and the fury pro is almost hitting 400 euro ... Is tentalizing but i may wait a bit for 29th and maybe the fury pro may go under even more..A 980ti performance for under 400 euros would be intersting ...

lol is this history repeating itself:lol:. The FuryX is faster than the 980Ti, look at how the 290x kills the 780 and now FuryX is surpassing the 980Ti, maybe in a few year the FuryX will be over 20% faster. Hell just DX12 games does that.

nvidia cards are pretty stable performance wise driver to driver.

someone did a comparison somwhere, i forgot where i saw it.

AMD has had major perofmrance increases driver to drivers.

I was surprised to see that the Fury had moved up to be better performance/watt than the 980 Ti at 4K, and pretty close in other situations. It seems like AMD really did close most of the efficiency gap last generation.

couple water blocks would take care of the heat issues...

most small cases these days can sneak at least a 120mm rad....

Well I can also just use an A/C cooled design and put in freezing air and gpu temperature will be colder then a water loop ;).

If prices get really low I will be too tempted in getting this mobo and using my current I7-6700K

Air flow is the thing or water cooling which would just add more to the rig. Have to think about this.
