  • Radeon Settings may be removed from the system if the Radeon Software installer is launched while Radeon Settings is open.
  • Radeon Settings "Additional Settings" option may intermittently fail to launch.
  • Users in Quad AMD Crossfire technology configurations may be unable to re-enable AMD Crossfire mode when using the global AMD Crossfire option in the "Gaming" tab and toggling it from on to off.

Known Issues

  • Heroes of the Storm™ may experience flickering in AMD Crossfire™ technology mode.

  • Forza Motorsport 6: Apex™ may exhibit brightness flickering when using AMD FreeSync™ technology.
  • Frame Rate Target Control gaming profiles may fail to enable for some games.
  • Catalyst Install Manager unable to detect the display driver while uninstallation.

Just updated and played dota 2 with vulkan and the performance was pretty good. 90-115 fps @ 3200x1800 and maxed settings. No hitches at all!

The screen freezes and the music continues in Overwatch menu with these and CrossFire enabled. 0o

Edit: Switched to 2 GPU CrossFire instead of 4 GPUs and it works now.

After doing a "clean" install, there is no "Additional Settings" option at all. Instead, I have a "Display Color" where the "Additional Settings" used to be.

These drivers still exhibit screen corruption when web content especially html videos has been seen through Chrome or other browsers. Not as bad as with previous drivers but problem is still present.

Whew! At least I'm not alone! :)

Could that have also been why the link at the old location wasn't working for me???

I have found that with the Crimsons, not uninstalling the old driver before installing the new one doesn't work out very well...I got a lot of mixed-version files every time I tried an on-top install without first uninstalling the previous driver. They are still changing things around in the Crimsons so installing a new driver on top of an old one is asking for trouble--even if it appears as if the on-top install was successful. I believe that this is happening for a number of people because the Catalysts were usually fine installed right on top of an older driver--not the case with the Crimsons, at least in my system.

Regarding the audio section of Additional settings. Does it actually work re: changing output for anyone else? If I'm using my HDMI out (changed via the windows applet) I can select my Xonar to bring it back to my normal default but I see no way to enable HDMI again except using the windows playback options.

I normally install or upgrade over the old, now everytime I start up I get the AMD Installation program asking if I want to remove or install. I think I need to uninstall everything and reinstall.

I just uninstall and reinstall will see now if they stop happing

I never had a problem with DDU either, though I usually do it only once every few times of installing over old ones.

I never used DDU. I just usually upgraded over on the top. I sometimes have to uninstall the old driver manually, reboot, and then install the new driver.
