AMD GPU driver sRGB emulation on wide gamut monitors

The S2721DGF does have an sRGB mode. You should probably be using that instead of the "wider" modes.

My monitor automatically switches to a different colour space when I change Windows to HDR mode, otherwise it's in sRGB mode all the time.

No ICC profile is going to map sRGB content correctly. At least not without screwing up the wide gamut.

It doesn't and it will not be added to the firmware

I do have a ICC profile. Srgb is controlled through gpu so is the best solution right now.It actually looks very nice and accurate.I know is ok because i have the old 1080p Eizo monitor that is only 90% srgb space and i just finished Cyberpunk on it.

So you may be right, but given that I just linked the official Dell manual for your monitor, I am sceptical.
  • the manual clearly states the monitor has an RGB mode on page 45
  • the link you mentioned appears to be talking about tone mapping sRGB when in an HDR mode => this is not possible on any monitor
Furthermore, RTINGs has tested this monitor, and shows that it conforms to sRGB well: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/dell/s2721dgf

In the monitor menu is just selecting the desired color space to match the pc..Is not srgb emulation.Vast majority of monitors have that selection. My EIZO has it too.
The forum that i put is about this lack of srgb emulation and people requesting it.You have the dell response there too. They do not want to add srgb emulation because it interferes with Freesysnc pro.
