I just picked up my today, going thru the documents. Thought these info. might be of interest to you all.
1) DVD Player
Brightness, gamma and saturation during DVD playback. Due to technical limitations, this capabilities was removed.
2) WME users
Due to technical issues, S/PDIF output from ATI DVD player is NOT supported under WME.
Watch ATI web site for updates.
3) W2K users
When installing ATI software, may encounter a message "digital signature not found", referring to a component "specialized PCD WDM VBI Codec". Please continue installation by pressing "yes" button. The NerlinVR application bundled with retail AIW Radeon is NOT currently designed to run on W2K.
4) W98 users
In order to use ATI Multimedia Center under original version of W98, need to install WebTV for Windows from W98 CD. NON-North America versions of W98 are not supported at this time. This step is NOT required if using W98SE and NON-North America versions of W98SE are supported.
So it appears, you'll have less issues if your OS is W98/W98SE (at this time).
Just can not wait to get home to install my AIW Radeon, waited more than one month for this baby. I know I'll love it, cause ATI cards is all I use (nothing but).
