AIW: is TV audio Master or Line In?

Can't seem to find this info anywhere...

I currently have a G200 Marvel. I'd like to upgrade soon, but unfortunately, Matrox quit supporting the most common feature of PCI soundcards after Video Tools 1.51. They switched the volume control for PC-VCR from Line In to Master...so if you're using a newer version of VT, turning down the TV-in volume doesn't turn the TV volume down: it turns down the volume of the system instead. So I can't watch football and listen to MP3 at the same time. Totally unacceptable design. So I'm stuck using ancient drivers and old hardware.

So, does the AIW TV tuner turn down the volume of the system, or just the volume of the TV (Line In)? Thanks

Someone here must have purchased this card and know the answer.

I'm running an aiw radeon.

Tv volume controls the mixer channel you are using. In my case I have audio connected internally to the auxillary connector of the SBlive.

So, YES, I can play MP3s and turn down the TV.
