acronis true image 2015 issues

trying to help uncle with ssd upgrade . he has a 120gb system ssd and wants to clone it to his new 1 tb ssd.
Is there a way to do this easily? I'm having a heck of a time using acronis true image software that came with the crucial 1tb ssd.
The program cloned the drive no problem, but the new drive is not showing the full partition in my computer...it's showing the old partition with the remaining space showing as "recovery partition" in device managment. It's like 890gb that can't be used currently. I can't delete the "recovery partition" because there's no option for it . not sure why it even has a recovery partition because it's a custom PC. The system is also acting kind of weird. Programs stop responding after cold boots.Mouse pointer still moves but programs stop responding.

At this point I want to redo the process using Macrium Reflect. But my question is, what do I do with the partitions? Does Macrium Reflect automatically expand the C: partition after cloning?

Try formatting the drive with a different tool. I forgot the name I think it's a linux tool. Do you have a windows CD to reinstall?
You can try Acronis Disk Director demo to delete the partition.

Fixed it with Macrium Reflect and Minitool partition wizard.
Acronis True Image screwed up Windows 10 recovery partition for some reason which was causing the pause/freeze issues. I'm guessing ATI 2015 is too old for Windows 10 cloning.

Macrium Reflect cloned it properly and then I used partition wizard to extend the main partition onto the remaining unallocated space. Pretty easy process.

What is the brand of the other drive?

Acronis OEM will let itself be installed if it see a drive from that OEM.
Maybe the Acronis version of that other drive is better...

new drive is crucial 1tb (came with acronis 2015)

The old drive is an Intel. I didn't think about using Intel's data migration software at the time. But, thank jebus for Macrium Reflect...it's free and it did the job fine.
