? about windows 98se

im not sure which forum to put this in so i was wondering if there is a way to make a shortcut on my desktop that i could use to open the close programs box instead of pushing ctrl+alt+del thank you

you should be able to create a shortcut for task manager. I think it is called taskmgr.exe in 98. or maybe it is called that in 2000 anyway, it will be something like that. Just drag it to the desktop and select create shortcut here.

i tried useing taskman but that dosent open the close program window like when you push ctrl+alt+del

i dont knwo of any shiortcuts, but i've seen freeware programs available for download at

do a search for fast shutdown, shutdown, reboot, and I'm sure you'll find something :-)
