7075 drivers still OK for DirectX games?

I have been out of touch for a while, so haven't been following any recent developments. Are the 7075 drivers still good for DirectX games? I don't need any OpenGL updates, etc... and my most recent games are NFS Porsche Unleashed and Diablo II. So, no hyper-new games. I have the Radeon 32DDR, 128 mb on my Celeron 333 oc'd to 416.
The newest drivers may have updates for other Radeon models, or for other games or whatever, but I wonder if ATI snuck in some performance enhancements? I could find no documentation about what has changed from 7075 'til now (fixed bug in MegaGameII, improved anti-aliasing or whatever....)
Those two mentioned games are my main ones, maybe I'll pick up Colin McRae Rally 2 if the price is right... I'm a cheapo, can't afford a new processor/mobo/etc every few years.
