3d rage pro agp 2x problems installing with xp

I have just transferred the "3d rage pro agp 2x" card into a computer that is running wp. I have a cd for the drivers an the programs (original) for windows 98 . The card is loaded with the drivers but I cant run any of the programs to see or operate the tv tuner. Is there an imcompatibility with xp or am i just missing the obvious? I would appreciate some insight
