it's going to last till crapcoin crashes again .

or they hardware lock out all mining on die on all new gaming GPU's somehow

if bitcoin stays this high or goes higher don't plan on getting a 4080 ti either

maybe a 5080 ti in 2024/2025 after the Arizona TSMC fab opens


TSMC said in May of last year construction on the Arizona facility was planned to begin in 2021 with production slated to begin in 2024 and that it would be capable of producing 20,000 300 mm semiconductor wafers per month. The $12 billion investment would be used through 2029 and the facility would create more than 1,600 jobs directly and thousands of indirect jobs in the ecosystem.

According to Taiwanese newspaper United Daily News, TSMC will expand its plans for the Arizona facility into a gigafab capable of producing 100,000 wafers per month. Additionally, the report indicates TSMC will offer salaries to Taiwan-based employees to move to Arizona.

.....as I've been saying. I notice Canada Computers receiving 100+ cards a week yet they disappear even faster than a bot could snag them. I always assumed staff were reselling them. They recently made a policy where they will sell a new gpu with a full system build only. Here is more proof.

I've given up trying to find any semblance of value with a desktop gpu or desktop prebuilt platform at this time. I needed to upgrade my laptop as well and at least can find some normalcy here and can see why mobile revenue is growing for this platform. Actually enjoying G-sync, Raytracing and Dlss in this form factor. Now I can wait to upgrade my desktop on my value term.

if the mining block works and cuts it in half the lower ethereum gpu profitability will help on the new cards
and all the cards are getting the new chips and block soon

with the block if profitability goes down to 2 or 3 buck on the newer 3080's or 3080 ti's that is a long pay off

if the block works the 3080 ti may mine worse than the 2080 ti

i see a used 2080 ti strix sold on ebay for 1455 :nuts: :nuts: :nuts:

This is why with me not mining, I hope I can trade my launch 3080 for a 3080ti with the block.
