But you have to factor in this is probably the low power entry-level mobile derivative and probably targeting a bit more than 60fps esport titles at 1080p, one may imagine. You have to factor in the amount of watts, overall efficiency of the architecture/cores and the cost. .
This architecture seems to be a scalable architecture from integration to data centers and Intel is a behemoth of a company with vast resources, just look at their financials.
I don't underestimate Amd, I certainly don't underestimate Intel.
