AMD today has released the WHQL version of its Radeon Software Adrenalin 18.2.1 Beta drivers, which the company had introduced just five days ago. There's no apparent difference between this driver version and the previously released one, other than the WHQL certification - this might mean some additional stability in the new driver release compared to its Beta version, though mileage may vary.

Just as a friendly reminder, the Radeon Software Adrenalin 18.2.1 drivers add support for Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age, while fixing a number of bugs with FreeSync and the Vulkan API, among others.

I have challenges with 18.2.1 it doesn't install correctly on my rig.I mean it install aparently correctly without setup errors but the driver itself is not used. The fan noise is not reduced and the radeon control panel give me an error.

Can't help you badsykes. But for me it workds "flawlessly", even the powerbug is fixed (monitor sleep, 50% tachyo).

Gotta test out C791 FS fix soon.

I feel this is the challenge that i experience...

Maybe WHQL certification has something to do with the fact Windows 10 was overriding the driver back to 17.3 WHQL driver by itself repeatedly when I've installed it on my A9-9420 APU. Then I complained on AMD's subreddid about it. Will check it out to see if WHQL changes anything, but I'm suspecting this is it. I see no other reason why they'd release same thing, just with WHQL otherwise...

Btw, WHQL-ed BETA driver? Am I missing something? I thought it was a final version already. I don't remember any mention of BETA... Hm.[/quote]I saw in device manager under Display Adapter ... Microsoft Basic Adapter :)
