17.4.2

so i discovered another great flaw in AMD software ...

1. define custom resolution
2. mistype number to 'out of range' of your display device
3. do apply

now you totally <censored> up
because
1. it's instantly applied
2. no test period with auto-fallback
3. persists after restart
4. overrides 'boot into low resolution 640x480 mode etc"
5. overrides switching to different resolutions via various 3rd party tools etc.

tested on Windows 7 x64

AMD still amazes to be unable learn what 3rd party tools do properly for decades

Creators edition is a POS. Frame rates are OK again but it has seriously borked my sound blaster x-fi gaming card so that the sound is awful. WTF Microsoft get it fuc**ng sorted now!

You are absolutely right. All those settings are missing indeed. This crimson edition driver+settings panel feels like a joke.

List of missing items which I urgently need:
1. Basic Video Color Settings
2. Color Vibrance + Slider
3. Flesh-tone Correction + Slider
4. Brighter Whites
5. Dynamic Range
6. Video Gamma + Slider
7. Deinterlacing Setting
8. Pulldown detection
9. Edge enhancement + Slider
10. De-noise + Slider
11. Mosquito Noise Reduction + Slider
12. De-blocking + Slider
13. Dynamic Contrast

What kind of software developers these companies hire nowadays? Are we progressing backwards?

Don't think you can progress backwards. Regress maybe.
