17.10.3 released

Of all the driver packages I've used over the years this one is was most problematic yet no mention of the numerous issues people are posting about.
Of course the creators fall update at the same time probably has a lot to do with it.
Maybe the next one...

what kind of problems? As you said, it may have more to do with the fall creator's update than the driver, not to mention some of the problems are user inflicted and/or caused by something else on their system that they want to blame AMD/AMD drivers for. Example, the new beta afterburner is a source of instability and problems on my system, specially if you are using the OSD. All problems disappeared once I have disabled the OSD. Yet, there are a vast amount of people who would blame that on AMD drivers and not MSI.

Only real I have issue is I can't disable crossfire. As soon as I turn it off Radeon Settings restarts and it's re-enabled.
Stuttering watching videos on xfinity but half the time it's their shitty Flash based player fighting with Chrome rather than a driver issue.
I should have done a clean install sooner it's nice seeing some of those new settings finally enabled with my Fury's.

I meant 17.10.2 has issues and this one doesn't mention any of them.
Install error and Seige crash my biggest issues. Possible mouse issue too (might have been the win10 update).

Been good for me, seems the monitor detection/drop out issue in eyefinty on booting has been sorted as its been working properly for last couple of drivers.

Very happy I have not had to fudge around to get all monitors working everytime I boot. (though it may have actually been fixed by the last big MS update which happened about the same time)

Install error is most likely caused by something other than the driver, such as Virus scanner, or something else not allowing it to install properly (windows protection??) Siege crash is not from the drivers. It is either unstable overclocking and/or undervolting or power issue. Siege is the most temperamental games I play when it comes to GPU stability while playing with voltages and speeds, with it crashing and giving me a driver error when my GPU was not stable from the changes I was making even though all other games where stable for hours, including 3dmark stress test running it in extreme settings.

I did have to raise the floor voltage (wattman's memory voltage) by .025 volts to be stable from previous drivers when I went to this driver.

Only mouse issue I have ever experienced was when the pointer would get corrupted up near the corner of the screen, which was many many years ago. If you are having anything other than corruption, aka lag, etc, the odds of it being caused by your Video driver are slim to none.

I do have one minor issues with this driver, but it is a problem that has been coming and going over the past 6 driver releases, and that is the global frame limiter does not always work, or it gets stuck on no matter how it is set. Only reason I uses it is to keep my frame rate below my 144 fps freesync ceiling. Except in CS:GO, where I leave it up capped.
