16.5.2.1 Driver Installer Crashes!

16.5.2.1 64-bit Installer crashes almost immediately, while pointing to an install directory. Anyone else seeing this? [update: it only seems to crash if you try to specify an unpacking directory. If you hit Install immediately it installs]

No problem here. I upgraded over on the top. I've seeing the doom improvement performance too. What exactly did you trying to do when installing 16.5.2.1?
 
It crashes after simply hitting 'Browse' to unpack; hit Install button instead and it works
 
I just got a "Display Driver Stopped responding...." and also lost my mouse cursor. Had to do a restart using the keyboard. :mad:

I've also noticed that, when using the AMD Install Manager to remove drivers, it doesn't remove the Vulkan drivers. I happened to find 3 versions of Vulkan still listed in the Add/Remove list.
 
I have two Vulkan installed but different version, however, driver installed flawless for me. Never gotten any error at all.
 
I got yet another Display Driver stopped responding and recovered last session.

When it happens I also lose the mouse cursor.

It seems to happen when viewing video primarily on Facebook. I get some 'tearing' across the screens as a warning before it finally pops up the message.
