Youtube embeds not working with HTTPS

Youtube embeds haven't been working for me for a bit now and I just realized it started when I switched to HTTPS with this site. I checked in the inspector and the embed code for YT vids isn't parsing out to a secure URL which results in just a white background where the YT player should be. I switched back to non-secure to check and embeds work again. Can this be fixed so YT vids load secure?

No it wont be fixed.

Sorry, must have missed those threads.

It should be fixed. Sad that all this stuff has just fallen by the wayside.

Until the forums move off of this decrepit version of vBulletin, it will never work.

Lup had mentioned the possibility of moving the forums to vBulletin's cloud hosting, but the rub is losing some of the R3d-specific customizations; I wish that would get more consideration. The trick is keeping the existing forum as an archive; is that possible?

Set R3D in a service like Hetzner Cloud services - they offer 20TB of traffic for like 5$/month or a myriad of other services that offer similar stuff.

Don't move to PaaS or you'll have no control over the system, updates or anything else and you'll have no customization to speak of - then it'll really be a dead forum without any chance of revival.
