I've been hearing rumors about this card but I didn't saw any concrete info about it. will ATI release the X800 SE or the rumors weren't true? will this card based on the R420 core or R350 core?

Knowing ATI, it will not be based on R420 tech.
I'm hoping that 9800Pro prices will fall from £160 to £110-ish - but I'm actually very doubtful.
The X800SE could be months away, like September. Sigh. In the meantime, the 9800Pro will hardly budge, the 9800XT will come down to £230, the X800Pro will be £300+ and the X800XT will stick at £400+.
