On a Rage based card (128/pro/whatever) we would like to slightly modify a video bios to have a base frequency of 70-72hz. Obviously this can be done, but I can find no info on doing it. The purpose is to use a Rage based video card, PCI or AGP, and interface it to a collection of CornerStone 2070 monitors we have. Right now Windows can drive the monitor fine, but BIOS & setup & WinSafeMode will not be displayable. I also know that the engineers at Cornerstone took the ATI Rage ISA card and said they "... just rewrote the base frequency to 70hz..." to get their ImageAccel line to work. Are there any tools or info on how to do this? The darn flash code is only 32K!!!
