ok guys help out here, I change my windows services a lot of times (via de services.msc command) because I like having different preferences for whatever im going to do (Games, Internet, etc), is there a way to save my services preferences to a file and then import it? instead of manually changing them everytime Im going to do different things...

thanks

Maybe you can create several user accounts which would all have their own services settings? I don't know if that would work, it's just an idea.

make a series of batch files starting/stopping the services you want for your particular application. Then you can either run those before running your games etc or make several users with the different scripts running as startup items.

You can tie a service to a hardware profile, although stopping and starting services all the time is rather pointless.

I agree. Unless you have an application that runs in the background as a service that uses a lot of resources I doubt you really benefiting much on stopping and starting services based on your application preference.

Does it matter since it is almost a decade ago... :bleh2:
