TV Wonder VE sound reverbs with MMC 8.8

I installed MMC 8.8 and for some reason, I'm getting reverb on the audio on my TV Wonder VE. Also, when MMC starts, it mutes the line-in on my Audigy Gamer. Unmute it and there's the sound, but there's that reverb as well. Everything was fine with the older MMC. Picture is fine, BTW.
 
It's an ongoing problem with SB cards and the 'Best Video Quality' option toggled on. Turn that off and you'll be fine.
 
There isn't an option as it is only available with the tv wonder pro .

I would recomend going back to the working MMC you had .

File a bug report with ATI .

The creative cards have problems with the way they handle the input steering from multiple inputs .

Try a search through this forum as there are some fixes available .

The creative cards are very popular but from my experience very limited in some aspects , i would never use them and prefer to look for a semi pro sound card at nearly the same price which would have better converters and sound quality .. try terratec etc .
 
No offense, but my old soundcard works perfectly with everything I use except this new MMC. So I'm going to point my finger at the new MMC as the culprit. :) No problem though, since I just went back to MMC 7.9 and it works perfectly.
