THE Benchmark Thread

Thanks Galax

**** you, back to the STRIX BIOS before I blow a fuse on my card. LOL

Unfortunately I ran it with the new Hotfix drivers, so it didn't record my score. I'm #20 out of all 3080TIs with a 14995. 15154 would have put me at #15.

Super impressed with this card though. With the 1000w BIOS it held 2160 nearly the entire run. I have no idea how much power it drew but I bet it was over 550watts.

How the hell did you get over 15k with a 3080Ti? (Nunz)

I have the 3080TI watercooled in a custom loop. I also have a pretty damn good card doing some very impressive clocks at lower voltages.

See above, BIOS flash.

To be fair, I hit 14995 on the stock BIOS :p I probably could have hit 15k if I sat there and really tweaked each voltage point, but wasn't worth all the time it would require.

I flashed back to the STRIX BIOS. Interestingly enough, the issue I had with the black screen at BIOS under DisplayPort is now solved. I troubleshot it down to the Overclock setting on my LG 38GL950G. With Overclock enabled (allows me to go to 160Hz or 175Hz -- I use 160Hz) I would get the black screen; something going on with the handshake between the GPU and the Monitor, the monitor would get stuck at 25Hz and give me no display. The reason why it worked under HDMI, is because that input cannot overclock (max 85Hz due to HDMI2.0 on monitor) so it was fine. I disabled Overclock on the monitor, and everything worked as it should.

I found a much newer STRIX OC BIOS on TechPowerUp. I flashed one of them when I got off the GALAX 1000watt BIOS, and bam! Now everything works. Overclock enabled on the monitor and I'm in the BIOS with UEFI and Rebar enabled.

This card is phenomenal. Zero remorse for spending the extra on the STRIX rather than a FTW3.
