Rage3D is back online after a hosting related outage. This was step one in a migration process that will end with the site being moved off of the current hamster based system.

We're still looking at the timing, but we expect to transition the site fully next week, and will notify you when we have the specific outage schedule.

Thanks for your patience.

Much appreciated.

Just a side note: will this make the long-planned move from the long-deprecated vBulletin version Rage has been on possible/easier?

That's more of an Ichy query, but yes. Having the site in a VM makes everything easier, from my perspective.

So the server is no longer running on an old IBM Thinkpad in your basement? That's a relief!
That was two basements ago. Still a little shocking that the current owners haven't unplugged it.

Are the Rage3D and ExtremeOverclocking servers colocated? The planned outages seemed to happen at the same time.
