Question about Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne

I recently played the first Max Payne on Steam and had to install a "Fix It All" mod/patch to get it work properly on modern PCs. I want to know if a similar "Fix It All" exists for Max Payne 2? All I can find is a "Widescreen Fix". Is that all the game needs to work on modern PCs?
 
I dont know about win 10, but both ran fine for me in win 7. May as well try it first. Hope it works out of the box for you, max payne 1 and 2 are amazing games
 
I gave it a go as is without installing any mod/patch to see if it worked. It worked just fine. However, the image was stretched. Installed the "Widescreen Fix" and now all is good.
 
Also got EAX working through Creative ALchemy. 3D audio sounds so good.

All I did was open the ALchemy app, saw Max Payne 2 was listed in the "Installed Games", and just moved it to the "ALchemy-enabled Games" list. I noticed a big difference in audio before and after adding it to the "ALchemy-enabled Games" list. Also make sure EAX is enabled in Max Payne 2's pre-game pop-up launch settings.

That for whatever reason that doesn't work for me anymore. It worked at first, now it's silent by the time I reach the menu's :(

Fixed it lol, just need to run at 16-bit, 44 Khz. I had it set higher to play around with listen to some higher quality audio :)

Broken again dafauq :lol:
