Pics of your Pets!

We've had this cat for 15 months now. He came from outside. Lived under our grill cover on our deck for almost a month. Looked scrawny so we fed him. Very friendly, clearly previously owned, but he wasn't going home so we took him in.

This is today, as he followed me and kids out on a walk. He'll take a collar easy enough but sometimes he jets out when we don't expect.

Cats have a reputation for being clean, but this guy is a nasty motherf***er. Rolls around in dirt like a dog.

My little dude waiting patiently for his vet. We haven't been able to groom him due to skin issues...so he's getting Cytopoint shots now, which are helping a lot.

He's got an enlarged spleen, and his hips are going...the vet gently informed me that the best course of action is to just keep him happy and comfortable for now, because I'm going to have to make *that* call in the months ahead.

It hurts to think about it, but I won't let this little guy suffer, no way.

edit: He's 17, so we've enjoyed a good long time with him.

Give him all the love and pets and treats and anything else that good pupper wants. Enjoy the time and don’t think about “that” decision until it’s time to make it.

With Cyko here (surprise, surprise). I had to make that call for the feline that adopted me last year and it was one of the toughest decisions I've ever made. Like you, Lazy, I was not about to let my feline overlord suffer. May we see each other again in the next life.

Enjoy your pup as much as you can.

Oh the little guy is spoiled rotten, dirty rotten I tell ya  He's one of the special ones, but then most of them feel that way. We're hoping he stays a bit longer than what the vet is suggesting.

been there, had to do what i had to do, it completely broke our hearts. We also hoped for more time.

Knowing you i'm sure the pupper has the best life already.

So sorry man. That sucks.

Yeah it always does and always will. Little guy has had a good life here though and in spite of his "small dog" quirks, he's been a blast. He's one of the best 4 legged family members we've ever had.
