NVIDIA to Bundle Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered with Certain RTX 3000-Series Cards

Pre-built desktop computers and laptops are also eligible for this promotion.

NVIDIA announced the "Be Greater" game bundle, where the company is handing out Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered (2022) with new purchases of GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, RTX 3090, RTX 3080 Ti, and RTX 3080 desktop graphics cards in the retail channel; as well as gaming notebooks and pre-built desktops that pack the desktop- or Laptop GPU variants of the RTX 3080-series and RTX 3090-series. The promotion period is open from today (September 7) till October 12, 2022, or while stocks covered by the promotion last. The bundle appears to be available in a majority of the markets NVIDIA addresses, but will only be available through select board partners (in case of DIY retail channel graphics cards), notebook/desktop manufacturers, and through select retailers.

Depending on the res it can make a big difference.

I stand corrected :D. I have a 3090 but only game a 2k resolution. Hell ebay is giving 1 grand for the 3090 on average. So I could sell that gpu, and basically pay for the upgrade to the ti model. Lol, the game has certainly changed. They have the ti version in stock at microcenter with zero lines.

update: ebay prices for the base 3090 have dropped a couple hundred dollars. Average price is $800 now.

That's right, 1080p is 2k, 1440p is not. :bleh:

A 3090 at 1920x1080 is pretty overkill.*

Having a RTX 3090 and a 1440p monitor may offer a ton of performance but one can always utilize DLDsr for some added fidelity.

Considering the recent news that EVGA is no longer making Nvidia video cards - I submitted an RMA for my FTW3 Ultra 3090. Mine is one of the Revision 0.1 cards that shows excessive power draw on the pcie slot. I've had no issues with the card, but I'd like some peace of mind and have a new revision now so that in 2 years when the card blows up I'm not SOL.

A guy is offering a 3080 locally for $729.

He is willing to trade my 3070 and I make up the difference.

What's a good price for a Zotac Twin Edge 3070?

Is an EVGA 750 G+ power supply enough for a MSI 3080 Gaming Z Trio?

I think you should look at ebay and see what 3070s are going for.

A 750 PSU should be ok for a 3080 but transient spikes may be an issue.

How much is he asking to "make up the difference"?

The 750watt has 62amp on the 12v rail. I think you'll be OK, but you'll be pushing the PSU pretty hard. When I get back from this mission, I may make a quick YouTube video on how to undervolt through MSI Afterburner while still overclocking, so you reduce the power use but still get higher clock speeds. I'll need some time though, as I'm pretty busy with work lately.
