"Nvidia Statement To Driver Heaven"

Another PR mis-step by Nvidia. Even their statement seems to be less than sincere.

Brian Burke must not be very good at his job or something... :)

All thanks to a bunch of stupid-ass n00bs who can't read and decided to email NVIDIA about Omega's drivers and the 'problems' they were getting.

LOL except the problems they were having were probably with NVidias core drivers anyway. Nothing will keep NVidia from finding a scapegoat to blame their problems on.

Unfortanately for them; the community will not blame Omega. The fault lies with NVidia: for their "optimized drivers" and heavy handed tactics in singling out people that work to provide a different solution. And do so on their own time.

Omegas drivers may not be for everyone; yet they are another option and the community realizes that as a good thing.

Noting the "sincerity" of NVidias statement: seems like they just Screwed the pooch again. NVidia: Games; the way we let you play. Current NVidia Slogan.

Love nVidia or hate 'em...

Love nVidia or hate 'em...

...you gotta admit that this is sort of exciting big news either way it turns out. :)

If nVidia sincerly tries to turn around it's great, if they try and use DH as their mouthpiece it's going to blow up in their faces worse than anything previously has. (I intend to make DAMNED sure of that one. )

I sincerely hope that Omega does not continue to make drivers for nVidia, they f u c k e d him over real good............
