Nvidia RTX 30XX Rumor thread

Isn't the next gen video cards due out later this year? I would personally wait for that instead. If spending thousands of dollars on a hard to get video card, might as well be the newest gen one.

Yes, late Q3 supposedly.

Another advantage of Dlss, Nis and Fsr that isn't discussed too much is not only the added performance flexibility but the smaller memory foot prints and adds some value to hardware with lesser ram.

3090s are already at 3200 bucks. MSI and ASUS are pricing them super high.
Also don’t buy MSI Suprim. That card is probably the hottest card there is. I saw many reviews lately and it is just a garbage card wrapped up nicely.

Talk about stupid! Guess they are trying to kill pc gaming once and for all. Guess I will be waiting 5 years for everything to crash before I buy a top end card again. Not paying more than 1k or I will stick with my PS5 or Series X. :consoleking:

Bill remember when paying over 1K for a 2080Ti was considered crazy?

The good ol' days.....

yea we were called all kinds of names for those 2080 ti's

1200 for a 2080 ti FE is going to be 1500 for a 4080 non ti

4080 ti's like the strix are going to be 2k or more

Ya man, it's insane to the point that what I paid for the 3080Ti is almost a bargain! :bleh:

I don't see how I can justify an new GPU in '22 as there don't seem to be any game that will require an upgrade either.

not at 1440p

4k yes :(

i'm going to have to redouble my prices

Yeah one of the main reasons I stuck at 2K res, need lots more horsepower to run at 4K.

i expect the 4000's and 7000's to be nuts in price and then go back down maybe for the NV 5000's and AMD 8000's

A 8900 or a 5080 ti should be good for 8k
