This is horrid. I haven't really played any games in a while. I have tried to play NHL 2000 the other day, and cant play it without my computer freezing. Sometimes it freezes before the game starts (during the anthem) and other times, like 10 seconds into the actual game... and when I do play, its choppy and wierd... Could this be heat-related? Could this involve over-clocked problems? Drivers? DirectX 6.1 or 7.0 which do I use?
No my CPU is not overclocked. I'll try the latest ALi drivers, latest Lightspeed drivers, and DirectX 7.0
We'll see... Maybe, I need to install Live!Ware 3.0? Whatever... oh yea, whenever the computer freezes, the crowd sound loops... Wierd... last time I saw something similar was in... i forget, it was a long time ago =P
