My Fury crashes under Q3 and ...

so yes my Fury crashes under Q3 ... and some others 3D games (mostly "openGL" games although I just've crashed Half Life in D3D).
Very annoying ...
Oh yes, I can play with Unreal Tournament without trouble (D3D) !
I tried tweaker-combo, but no good results.

I need help !
(my soundcard may have influence ?)

NB : I have official ATI drivers, these are the only stable for DVD playback in my computer.

PII 266 ovck 300 (since long time)
ASUS P2L97 (latest bios)
256 MB ram
Fury 32 MB (Driver 6114)
SB Live (LiveWare 2.1)
DirectX 7 / Win 98 (with patches)
 
What drivers have you tried?
Have you tried running the bus speed at the standard 66mhz?
 
Try the 6155Ci3-LS2000 drivers. There's a Slot 1 and Socket 7 version, get the right one. Those drivers should alleviate most of your problems.

Get the Rage128 Tweaker to fine tune what the drivers doesn't fix.

I've got a P3 with these drivers and hardware DVD works fine.
