Multiple Sony exclusives are coming to PC, Ghosts of Tsushima next

Yeah. here's the thing... if they wait too long, I quit caring about that game and never pick it up. If it was a concurrent (or nearly) release I might have enough enthusiasm for it to give them money.

And they lose the people who buy day one, at full price. If it's been out over a year on their system, it won't feel like a 'new' game.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is now available on Steam (link), and has been getting positive reviews for both it's single player and co-op gameplay.

"Its level designs are adorable and creative, really shining in co-op but still entertaining when played alone. Its platforming can occasionally frustrate, falling short of the precision and nuance needed to really make it stand out from other games like it, but the feel-good vibe that permeates every corner of its crafted world still makes it a joy to play." And it bombed harder than Uncharted, it is time for Sony to drop this port initiative, the uncultured swine known as PC Gamers™ have no appreciation for true AAArt.

as i said earlier, it is a great game IF you liked the previous ones. As for the price, well, i wouldn't pay 60 bucks for it, neither on pc nor on console, but that's of course just me.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure Has Proven Very Unpopular on PC

"After the PC port of the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection set the record for the lowest player count of any Sony game at launch, Sackboy: A Big Adventure has come along and beat it by an alarming margin. Across its first weekend on sale, the highest number of players it had at any one time was just 610. Compare this to the 10,851 peak the Nathan Drake remasters recorded and it's immediately clear how unpopular Sackboy has proven on PC." (full article)

IMO PC Gamers won't pay $60 bucks for this type/genre of game no matter how amazing it is. Sony got too accustomed to charging 60/70 bucks for everything under the sun, which will fly with their console base but not the PC market. $30 would probably be the sweet spot for a title like this.

Sackboy isn't a popular game, period, I'd say and a PC release isn't going to suddenly change that. Especially since there's no LittleBigPlanet heritage on PC.

Funnily enough, on Metacritic the user reviews for Uncharted 4 are a factor 100 more than the user reviews for Sackboy, and now the Steam numbers appear to differ by a factor 100 too. I hope Sony expected this result, otherwise that feels like a dumb mistake on their part.

Agree...there are now just too many free/subsidized games in the PC market. Especially for games like this.

I never played Uncharted or really paid any attention to it, but it came with the 5900X I just upgraded to. I noticed it was a Naughty Dog game, I played the Last of Us Part II, which was also Naughty Dog. Utterly awesome. If Uncharted is anything close to as good as The Last of Us, this is huge win.

But like others have mentioned, pricing is key. Too expensive, no one will buy.

the good thing about being released on pc is that you can get the keys for cheap (~35 bucks in this case). I never pay the so called "normal" prices on steam. That aside the prices on consoles are (still) f**ing insane.

Yeah unless you really want the steam refund system, I always buy on CDkeys.

40 euro vs 60, no brainer. :p

TLOU Pt1 still dropping on the pc? I've heard nothing about its pending release in some time.
Yep Sony themselves verified the PC version at a couple events earlier this year, but the release date I don't think is set in stone.

Didn't Sony say a year after PS5 release is the new normal? Or maybe I read that on reddit from someone's ass :bleh:

Some sources say “At least a year later” and others say after one year. Meh.

Bring Bloodborne to PC and show me you’re serious Sony. :bleh:

Sony not porting DS and BB is crazy, it makes so much more sense than sackboy or even uncharted when you consider just how big souls-likes are on PC.

I can’t help wonder what the reasoning is. BB would make a killing on PC. They have to know that, you would think anyway.
