Maserati is in need of a rebirth. The Levante is still new, but the current Quattroporte and Ghibli have been around since 2012-13, and the GranTurismo has just been retired after a dozen long years on the market. Fortunately, it has just such a rebirth in the works, and now we know when it will kick-off.

The Trident marque issued this rather enigmatic teaser, showing nothing but its logo and a few key words: Modena, May 2020, and the letters MMXX, and the accompanying caption "Maserati: a new era is coming."

A lot of rumors starting to swirl around this one... Some rumor have it will be a sports car based off the Alfa Romero 4C carbon fiber tub. Others have it being a continuation of the sporty coupe concept of the Grandturismo.

I thought it looked neat until I saw the rear end. It looks like it filled it's diaper. It's pretty bad. :bleh:

We were hoping that Maserati would revive a historic name for its new mid-engined sports car, but the company is instead going with an alphanumeric: MC20. Maserati says this stands for "Maserati Corse," foretelling a racing version of this new car, and 2020, which the company says marks a new phase in its history. The MC20's name also links it with the Maserati MC12, a limited-production supercar from 2004 that shared components with the Ferrari Enzo.

I look forward to see it lightly used in great condition a year later for under 20k and not buying it.

I kind of dig the doors. The wheels on the other hand, I hope they have other options. Although, it's probably going to be beyond my price range anyway but I don't mind dreaming. ;)

The corsa(matte black) looks classic but the birdcage(two tone) are more eye catchy. Id be happy with either
