I don't get it after all the **** you talked about how gas is dead, electric is the future, etc etc..

What are you going to daily drive? 'Cause it ain't gonna be a C8 kol

Honestly those Vettes are ****ing amazing. Every time I see one on the road for a moment I'm trying to decide what sort of Ferrari or other supercar I'm seeing. I love the styling.

This changes nothing I said about electric being the future. It most definitely is. I will be paying significantly more for gas and maintenance and that kind of sucks.

I don't think I ever **** talked gasoline cars (unless providing objective facts is **** talking) so I would appreciate quotes, as I think you are twisting what I have said. I am a car enthusiast first and foremost. Don't let your bias distort that. I have no doubt the Tesla won't be my last electric car.

The C8 most likely will be my daily driver save for winter. Historically I put 4,000 to 6000 miles a year (or less) on my vehicles since I work primarily from home and do not have a daily commute.

We have two vehicles, so I don't understand what you are saying.

It looks dope af on the outside. Is the interior quality good? I haven’t sat in one yet so wouldn’t know. I was trying to look for one in Dubai and people wanted 100K USD for these things. I was like you idiots mad or wha? 100K I can get a decent spec base Carrera.

I honestly think the C8 looks like a cheap ripff mid-engined supercar.
When i first saw pics of i thought it would be a cool poor mans mid-engine supercar but nope...just looks cheap. Dunno what it is about it but thats how i feel when i see one.

I prefer the design of the C7 myself.

But still, need pics!

It's better than most GM products and is a definite improvement over prior generation Corvettes. Basically, it's good for an American car. Take that however you want.

No 4x4 and can't drive in the snow. Hard pass. :bleh:

You know, I never noticed your sig quote until now. I am not a fan of Milton Friedman, and his views on corporate social responsibility are nonsense.

It's too bad that some of my business classmates in college were sociopaths that really believe a lot of what he was pushing.

This has nothing to do with what you said.

LOL

Meh, I just thought it was an appropriate quote given everything that's going on today. I don't know anything about the guy who said it. We can take this to P&R if you'd like me to elaborate.

Having said all that...sig changed.

I'm interested in your C8 only for the its a badass sports car at one moment yet has a luxury plush 'go to the Opera' ride when you switch a button with that magnetic suspension.

I know the car can rip but I'd most like to hear about how plush this car can truly be when you change suspension settings.

Great....there goes the guy who did all the heavy lifting in responding to the electric car criticism.....now I got to do "some" of the work....

congrats Clock!

My views haven't changed. When I see nonsense posted I will still call it out.

When the novelty of the C8 wears off I will likely have another EV.
