Forza 7 - Discounted before end of life

They did the same to the earlier games too, the only difference is that forza 8 isn't ready to ship this year.

It's due to the licensing in the game (mainly for the cars I'd imagine... could be music too). When the licenses expire they can't sell the game anymore. Of course you can still buy it used or new from third parties.
 
There it is. Was trying to wrap my head around how this decision would lead to less loss or more profit. Math adds up now. :up:
 
You see the same with Codemasters titles. They obviously figure that the sales after so many years don't justify a longer license period.
 
Forza 7 is the absolute dopiest of them dope Forza games. If you don’t have it you don’t have a soul. :bleh:

This is (partially) why original soundtracks are always superior as they have no expiration date. That and 99% of all modern "music" is trash, I usually just end up turning the in game music off when it uses licensed "music".

That said, for $10 I bought it, but holy bandwidth batman, it's a 100gb download! :eek:
