can it be dropped to, say, 30 seconds?

i continually have to wait for the 45 seconds to end. it's frustrating to type as fast as i want and then have to just sit there and stare at what i typed.
 
there cant be that many situations when u need to make 2 posts within 45secs and besides it wouldnt be the whole 45 secs that you would be waiting due to the time it would take you to type the post.

i think 45 seconds is fine... no need to post any faster than that

at 95 words per minute, i can get a couple lines up, and hit the post button before the 45 seconds are up. :p

Anyway, I think the extreme spamming that took place in th Im #2 thread when it was just reopened would have been umbearable.
 
I say the "bandwith" from the Off Topic forum seems like nothing now comparied to what the 8500 Forum is pushing out because of all of the little psycho kids that hang out in there.

Actually, thats only you Ryoko, the rest of us get a message like this one

"Sorry! The administrator has specified that users can only post one message every 30 seconds."
