Dumb question. Win 10

I just did a clean install of Windows 10. What all do I need to install as far as drivers? I haven't done this in forever and can't remember. I know audio and video but what about mobo drivers? Also I forgot to disconnect from the internet. Is that a bad thing? I would rather start over now if I made mistakes.

Well, first start with looking at what's not working. Go to Device Manager and look for anything that's missing a driver. Then install those. Windows has a lot of default drivers for Intel chipsets, but to be safe, just install all motherboard drivers from the disk or grab them from the manufacturer's website.

I just did a mobo/cpu upgrade and had to install LAN, USB, chipset, audio, and video drivers.

Everything seems good. I did go to Asrock website and downloaded all drivers listed for my mobo and installed them in the order they were listed. The second driver I went to install said it was older than the driver I had installed so I didn't install it.

win10 is pretty good for installing all the mobo/chipset stuff by itself.

the only occasional stumble is the new restrictive update system that can pull some older gpu drivers.

I think I posted in one of the win 10 threads on how to configure updates via group policies to prevent this from happening.
