Creative Labs under Windows 10

Reason enough for me to never upgrade to Win 10. I've been spoiled with my Crystalizer.

Yeah updated my extremegamer with the Creative Win 10 drivers and mostly OK. Unfortunately in some games, especially Dirt 3 Complete, I can definitely hear some hissing sounds from within my PC. Quite noticeable when I switch the speakers off. In game with speakers on it's drowned out by the game.

Sounds a bit like feedback but can't really pin it down. Doesn't occur on all games just a few. Anyone else experiencing something like this?

I spilled my coffee!
Thats hilarious

Creative always built great hardware. The problem (going back to the Micro Channel SoundBlaster days) is their drivers are apparently written by a room full of drunken computer science dropouts coding on a single Etch A Sketch.

Got a soundblaster Z last week. Everything works fine. Windows even installed it's own driver after I already installed the Win10 drivers from Creative's site. I cringed as I waited for everything to break, but it's fine and still running on the driver I installed anyway, so I left it alone.

how will 10 affect Xfi MB3 for onboard audio? havn't gotten 10 installed yet as I don't trust skynet, oops I mean M$, to not frak things up

I'm having no less issues with MB3 in Windows 10 than in Windows 8. Audio still distorts and echoes for periods of time across two different rigs (quad2core+5870 vs i7+670), altough I had to update MB3-software to get Windows 10 running with it.
